Do you have this problem with the 110 punchdown tool?

Copper wires were difficult to cut and punch down with my new RJ45 punch-down tool, which is shown in the picture. How do I cut all the wires sharply?

Maybe you have an incorrect operation. Check how to punch down the keystone jack in this video.

Maybe you need an excellent Punch Down Impact Tool to make your work more convenient.
If you do not want to buy a new punch impact tool, you can also use Needle Nose Pliers, Round Nose Pliers, or Wire Cutter to cut the excess copper wires.

Not sure what tool you’re using, maybe a specialized one would be better.

I encountered the same situation when I initially used the 110 punch down tool. However, as I gained experience through multiple uses, I found that it significantly saved time.
