Iām looking to wire my house recently. I have an attic, and I want to run a network cable from there to the bedroom. Which option would be slightly better? t568a or t568b?
568A and 568B are both OK as long as two ends of your Ethernet cables are terminated with T568A or T568B. Choose one and just insist on it!
With the development of Auto MDI-X technology, the network equipment can automatically recognize whether the other device is the same; using the same wiring schemes at both ends of the RJ45 connector is recommended. T568A and T568B have subtle differences, and one is no better. All you need to do is choose one and stick with it, which means you must be consistent with your current home wiring schemes. T568A and T568B are just two different arrangements of wires, with no difference in performance; they can provide the same network speed.
Generally, T568B is used more frequently.
As long as you ensure that your home wiring follows the same standard, it will be sufficient.

Both options are acceptable, and there is no difference in performance. You can choose either one as you prefer. 
The difference between them is the arrangement of the eight wires within the cable. There is no obvious advantage in functionality between the two. But if you choose one you need to stick with it.
